  • Cabins: 18. Cabins have bunks, sleep up to four persons. Three cabins have private bathroom.

  • Facilities and Activities: This is a windjammer, an American National Historic Landmark schooner built in 1900. The vessel usually anchors out every night. There are daily shore excursions to coastal towns, fishing villages, and pine-profiled granite islands. Passengers become friends, and several who met on the boat more than 20 years ago still travel together. One passenger first sailed in 1962 and has been aboard for 58 cruises. Families are accepted, and kids are allowed to help the crew if they are so inclined. There are opportunities to see whales, seals, eagles, and other wildlife. Marine biology cruises are offered. The vessel participates in windjammer and schooner day events. Bridge is open and captain accessible. English is primary language, but often crew speak some Spanish, French, or German.
