  • Itinerary: Cruises through the Sepik River area visiting different villages and people between Timbunke and Karawari.
  • Cabins: 9. Size 14 x 9 ft., 14 x11 ft., 14 x13 ft. All rooms have window, air-conditioning, and private bath. Cabins have double bed or two twin beds, one has a single bed and rollaway bed.
  • Dress: Informal.
  • Facilities: Observation on the top deck, video documentaries and lectures by staff. Visits to Sepik River area villages are made by jet-boats., both nature and cultural-oriented visits. Cultural festivals include the Mount Hagen Cultural Show, Tumbuna Sing Song, Wahgi Sing Sing, and Goroka Cultural Show. Officers and crew speak English. Village people speak their traditional language and "Pidgin", and a few speak English. This is a small expeditionary vessel made to cruise along the inland river waterways. Some programs allow a village stay to gain insight into the traditional ways of Papua New Guinea.
  • Recent Fares Reported to Us: US$1,930 for single and US$1,287 for twin,  including transfers, sightseeing tours, and government taxes. Children under age 8 are not allowed on the cruise. Children age 8 to 12 are 50%.

Note: As of 2013 the Sepik Spirit will be permanently berthed at Kamininbit village, located in the Middle Sepik where most of the population lives.  This is one of the richest areas for art and culture in the Sepik region. It is accessible by light aircraft from Mount Hagen (Rondon Ridge), Karawari and Ambua Lodges.
She will become a floating Wilderness Lodge. From Kaminimbit there are daily cultural touring programs into remote villages such as Chambri Lakes, Mindimbit, Yentchen, Palembei, Kanganaman, Timbunke and Tambunum.
