Some cruise lines have dance hosts on all cruises; others only have them on repositioning cruises or on cruises of seven days or more.  Be sure to ask when you make reservations, and confirm that there are hosts on that particular cruise.

Here are cruise lines that have dance hosts on at least some cruises. There may be anywhere from two to eight hosts on board, depending on the cruise line and the itinerary and the dates.  Cunard for example may sometimes have eight hosts on board their transatlantic crossings. Usually the more days at sea, the bigger the chance that there will be hosts. MSC has dance professionals and classes on several transatlantic and South America cruises. Cunard's Queen Mary 2, with the biggest ballroom at sea, has ballroom dance cruises on many Caribbean cruises.  Crystal has beginner and advanced ballroom classes and onboard competition on their transatlantic cruises.

If dancing is important to you, check and check again that dance hosts will be on board the cruise you are interested in.
