The homeport is Aberdeen, Washington, and trips go along
the coast California to Alaska, with trips to Vancouver, Anacortes,
Edmonds, Whidbey Island, Bainbridge Island, Tacoma, Vashon Island, Olympia,
Seattle, Port Townsend, Orcas Island, Bellingham, Blaine, Victoria, Grays
Harbor, and Sausalito.
- Cabins: The main hold accommodates all guests, and has bunks and
running water.
- Facilities and Activities:
This is a brigantine that is mostly used
for day sails, but there are week-long family programs during the summer
and two-week cruises with liveaboard crew-training programs. Longboats
serve for sea/sail education programs and for youth team-building programs.
The ship is a reproduction of the first American-flagged vessel to make
landfall in the Northwest in 1788 under the command of Captain Robert Gray,
namesake of Grays Harbor County, Washington. It is the Washington State Tallship Ambassador.
