• Itinerary: The ship cruises to the Canary Islands, the Mediterranean, the Baltic, Norway and the North Cape in the spring and summer, and sometimes the Amazon, the Caribbean and Latin America in the winter and a 54-night cruise around Africa.
• Cabins: 238. There are 168 outside and 70 inside, singles (30) to family-size. Beds may be fixed, a folding sofa bed, a bed that folds against the wall or lower and upper berth. Connecting rooms can make up to a suite. All cabins have air-conditioning and a private bath with shower. Some have refrigerator and TV. There are two wheelchair-accessible cabins.
• Dining: There are two dining rooms, both non-smoking, and a third restaurant for alfresco dining. Cuisine is international with Norwegian specialties. There is an open-air dining area for buffet lunch. There is a charge for room service.
• Facilities and Activities: This ship caters mainly to British passengers. There is a casino, pool, piano lounge, library, gym, sauna, hairdresser, ironing facilities and children’s facilities. A physician and nurse are on board. There is an aft watersports platform for swimming and snorkeling. There are zodiacs, windsurfers, a ski boat and banana boat. Activities include ballroom dancing, art classes and special interest lectures by experts on gardening, bridge and other topics. The lounges have entertainment and singalongs. Passengers have reported a high percentage of smokers on board.
