Itinerary:  The trips go to several locations in the Maldives, either on a northern cruise to locations in North Male Atoll, Baa Atoll and Lhaviyani Atoll or on a southern route to Ari Atoll, South Male Atoll and Vaavu Atoll. On charters, atolls to be visited can be custom-chosen.
Cabins: 6. The cabins are air-conditioned with individual controls. There are two double cabins aft and four forward, each with a double bed and bathroom with shower and marine toilet. Portholes can be opened for fresh air.
Dress: Totally casual.
Facilities and Activities: This is a motorized sailing yacht, with wood hull and twin-masts. There is daily snorkeling and diving on many islands, most of which are uninhabited and infrequently visited. Dives are scheduled each day at different atoll lagoons and reefs, including wreck and night dives. At Manta Point at North Male is a school of mantas, at Baa Atoll are thousands of batfish, and at Lhaviyani there are grottos carpeted with lilac and blue alcyonanrians. Many of the dive sites are close to resorts so that passengers can visit a resort in the evening. There are barbecue lunches and dinners on beaches. Visits to local villages provide insight into the lifestyle of the Maldivian people. A library has English, German and Italian books and CDs. Snorkeling equipment is available on board, as well as fishing equipment. You can troll a line when the boat is sailing and have your fish fixed for dinner. On diving cruises, a separate ‘dhoni" motorized vessel accompanies the Gomafulhu with compressor, tanks and other dive gear on board. There is international direct dialing telephone service.
