Amazon. The Anavilhanas

8, 3. One vessel has 4 cabins with double beds and 4 cabins
with twin beds. The other vessel has 2 cabins with double bed and 1 cabin
with four single beds. All have air conditioning, private bath.
- Dress: Very casual warm-weather
clothes. Pants are recommended for trails and swim clothes for river swims,
beaches, waterfalls.
Facilities and Activities: These are
regional-style boats to provide the feeling of traveling much like the
local folks do, but with more comfort, safety, and onboard services.
There are
wildlife, cultural, and family programs. Katerre
Expedition specializes in the Negro River in the Amazon, traveling with
small groups in an intimate atmosphere and without causing a great impact on
the environment.
Wildlife includes macaques,
sloths, river dolphins, pacas, and birds. Riverside communities are
